Jayson Thomas is a civil litigation lawyer dedicated to providing his clients with the highest level of legal representation. Jayson prides himself on his ability to navigate his clients through serious and complex civil disputes through hard work, diligence, and passionate advocacy.

Prior to starting his own law practice, Jayson practiced law at one of Canada’s oldest and largest corporate law firms, where he acted as litigation counsel to several multinational and international private and publicly held corporations. In this setting, Jayson worked on cutting edge legal matters and developed particular expertise in responding to complex business disputes under challenging time constraints. Jayson subsequently went on to practice law for a well respected, downtown Toronto civil litigation boutique law firm where he was able to obtain extensive courtroom experience representing the interests of insurance companies in a wide variety of civil disputes. Jayson has appeared at all levels of Court in Ontario.

Jayson attended law school at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, where he obtained both a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Juris Doctor (J.D., magna cum laude) degree and graduated with high academic standing. In his final year of law school, Jayson was named a Frank J. Murphy Scholar and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Prior to law school, Jayson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from York University.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jayson owned and operated two businesses which serviced Alberta’s oil and gas industry. Jayson’s former business experiences provide him with unique insight into delivering his clients the value and quality of service they deserve.
